As engines roared and crowds cheered during the World Rally Championship (WRC) in Naivasha, Art for Children Foundation (A4C) added a bold stroke of creativity to the scene—through live painting sessions across rally hotspots.
From March 21st to 23rd, we invited revelers to “Paint in the Wild” at Kedong Ranch, Lake Elementaita, and Hell’s Gate National Park, transforming the excitement of motorsport into support for the Bus Scholarship Fund.
For just Ksh. 1,000, fans painted under the guidance of professional volunteer artists—and every canvas contributed directly to supporting young adults transitioning from children’s homes into vocational training and apprenticeships.
This was more than just art in the wild,” said Kenneth Kamau, Founder of A4C. “It was about turning a global event into a moment of local change—giving people a chance to express themselves creatively while contributing to a cause that transforms lives.”
Informed by the good number of revelers expressing interest in seeing more such art experiences throughout the year, A4C has partnered with The Guest House Jane in opening its art programs to the public! To begin with, this April school holiday, we are launching a month-long Children’s Painting and Crocheting daily sessions, at The Guest House Jane. For just Ksh. 1,500, children can learn art, express themselves, and connect with others—all while supporting a meaningful cause.
The WRC Safari Rally Kenya is known for being one of the most challenging and scenic races in the world. For us, it was also a chance to spotlight our mission— to advocate for a child violence-free community, by providing an environment for every child to discover and nurture their artistic abilities and creativity in art.
