In our day-to-day operations of activities, since the inception of Art for Children Foundation, we have encountered various questions from our programmes’ beneficiaries, schools managements, teachers, and members of public in general.

We have compiled most of these questions, categorised and answered them, in order to make it easier for you to better understand us:

A4C stands for; Art for Children Foundation

Yes. Art for Children Foundation is a non-profit NGO, therefore all programmes are offered free of charge.

Yes, our programmes are focused on children of below eighteen (18) years.

Yes. Our programmes are continuous.

As a volunteer you do not get paid for volunteering, unless stipulated by the foundation. See more on our volunteer terms and conditions

No, you do not have to be talented to volunteer. All you need is passion to make an impact.

However, having a talent is an added advantage.

We accept both in-kind and financial donations. We also accept apparel (clothes & shoes) donations that we distribute to children and children’s homes who badly need them.

For donations from outside the country, that might attract government taxes, we will file for tax-exemption where applicable. 

Yes, the foundation is registered with the NGOs Coordination Board of Kenya, as a Not-for-profit Nongovernmental Organisaton.

We are also recognized by Office of the Children.
