Kenneth Kamau

Founder & CEO

Mr. Kenneth is a certified Sustainability Leader, United People Global (UPG) class of 2021. He holds a Bachelors of Science (Honours) Degree in Business Information Technology, from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. He also holds Levels 4 and 5 Diplomas in Computer Studies, from NCC Education, United Kingdom.

Mr. Kenneth has over 10 years of experience in Software Development, Database Engineering,  ICT Consultancy, and Social Media Management. He has worked for public, private, and no-profit sectors, both nationally and internationally. This includes the The National Treasury and Planning, The Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), Research Solutions Network (RSN), GoldStar Kenya (GSK), Kenya Civil Society Platform for Oil and Gas (KCSPOG), 254 Youth Policy Café, among others.

During his service in the public sector, Kenneth has received in-house trainings and hands-on-experience on: CCTV installation, PABX, Microsoft Office Business Suite, Survey Systems and Applications, Navision, Risk Management, Social Media Management, Personal Security, Emergency Plan and Disaster Management, among others.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, Kenneth volunteered in various successful medical crowdfunding committees for patients that helped raise over Kshs. 16.4 Million ($152,232). This helped save the patients’ lives, who underwent major surgeries and theatre rounds, received necessary medical access, and recovered to a point of being discharged from the hospital.

He is also a multi-talented musician, artist, poet, and writer. He holds the Outstanding Musician of the Year – 2019, Naivasha Six Stars Gala Awards.

His leadership has seen the Art for Children Foundation win the best NGO of the year 2022 from the same awards, and also nominated for the same category in 2024 awards.

Mary Ikere

Mary Ikere

Projects Coordinator

Having schooled at Imara Training College in Nairobi, Mary is a qualified and certified primary school teacher. She is the current Headmistress of Zasante Junior School, since January 2021.

She has vast experience in drama and music, having been a co-director of the same at Njumbi Boys High School, Kangema – Murang’a County in 2018. She has also been an actress with the Students Scouts Group from 2009 to 2014 playing; trumpets, narratives, poetry, and drama. In addition, she has worked with Picha Tamu Production, from 2014 to 2018, doing drama, narratives, and poetry.

Currently, since 2019, she is working with Glory Wood Production where she has been featured in the play “My Quarantine Wedding”, done at Lake Naivasha Resort theatre in December 2020. The play was in partnership with HeartStrings Group, lead by Nick Kwach.

Mary utilises her singing abilities to minister in the church, through songs. She has run a Vocational Bible School (VBS) programme for 800 children in P.C.E.A, Naivasha sub-county parish.

Christine Muchemi

Partnership and Resource Mobilization Coordinator

Christine Muchemi is a dedicated community service advocate with a passion for promoting gender equality and social development. She is a committed member of Rotary International, serving under the Rotaract Club of Naivasha, where she actively contributes to initiatives that uplift communities and empower individuals.
 
Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Development from Daystar University, Kenya, and is currently pursuing a certificate in Health Care Assistant at Tesscol Training Institute, Naivasha, to expand her knowledge and skills in the healthcare sector.
 
Her professional experience spans diverse roles, including Project Coordinator, Administrator, and Community Service Officer, where she has contributed to impactful initiatives aimed at improving lives. She has worked with reputable organizations such as Penta Flowers and Egerton University, where she gained valuable insights into organizational development and community engagement.
 
Christine’s passion for community development, gender equality, and her drive to make a difference continues to shape her work and the lives of many she touches.

Mentorship

The Mentorship Department is responsible for the Life-Skills and Governance mentorship programme. It is also responsible for Guidance and Counseling for staff, volunteers, and children. In addition, it is responsible for staff and volunteer trainings, and organising of projects' events and activities.
