In our day-to-day operations of activities, since the inception of Art for Children Foundation, we have encountered various questions from our programmes’ beneficiaries, schools managements, teachers, and members of public in general.

We have compiled most of these questions, categorised and answered them, in order to make it easier for you to better understand us:

1. What is A4C?

A4C stands for: Art for Children Foundation

2. Are your programmes free of charge?

Yes. Art for Children Foundation is a non-profit NGO, therefore all programmes are offered free of charge.

3. Can you teach my child on art?

Yes, our programmes are focused on children of below eighteen (18) years.

4. Will Art for Children come again?

Yes. Our programmes are continuous.

5. Do i get paid for offering my services?

As a volunteer you do not get paid for volunteering, unless stipulated by the foundation. See more on our volunteer terms and conditions

6. Must i be talented to volunteer?

No, you do not have to be talented to volunteer. All you need is passion to make an impact.

However, having a talent is an added advantage.

7. What kind of donations do you accept?

We accept both in-kind and financial donations.

For financial donations, kindly visit our donations page.

We also accept apparel (clothes & shoes) donations that we distribute to children and children’s homes who badly need them.

For donations from outside the country, that might attract government taxes, we have applied for a tax exemption certificate.

8. Is the organisation legally registered?

Yes, the foundation is registered with the NGOs Coordination Board of Kenya, as a Not-for-profit Nongovernmental Organisaton.

9. Can I have a look at your financial statements?

Absolutely, our financial statements are available for transparency and public scrutiny purposes on our downloads page
