On Saturday 20th December 2025, Art for Children Foundation (A4C) was privileged to provide art services at the wedding of Margaret and Edgar, held at Kigaa PCEA Church in Gatundu, Kiambu County, with the reception taking place at Imani Park Gardens, Ruiru.
Edgar is a pioneer of A4C and a strong supporter of our mission to build a child-violence-free community. It was therefore a special honour for the organization to be part of this important milestone in their lives.
Margaret and Edgar previously visited Naivasha on 31st August to attend the Presidential Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Naivasha, where Kenn (our founder), was being installed as a board member serving in the Professional Leadership Development docket. Their presence was a show of support for Kenn and for the work of A4C.

During the installation ceremony, the couple won several raffle prizes, one of which was a canvas painting by A4C. With their wedding approaching, they requested that the painting be created live by children during the celebration — a request A4C was happy to honour.
For the wedding reception, A4C provided two canvas boards (40” by 30”) — one for children and one for adults — along with two art volunteers, one female and one male, to guide participants through the painting process.
At the reception, children joyfully immersed themselves in painting, exploring their creativity and expressing themselves freely through art. The adults also enthusiastically joined in, discovering a playful and expressive side of creativity. Once completed, the two art pieces were presented to the bride and groom.

These were more than just paintings. They were canvases filled with colour, love, and shared memories — with every brushstroke capturing a moment from their special day.
A4C sincerely thanks Edgar and Margaret (Maggie) for choosing us to add colour and joy to their wedding through canvas art. We wish them a happy, fulfilled, and blessed marriage.
